A correctly fitted draught-proofing system seals the moving parts of a sash window while allowing the sashes to slide. It can reduce unwanted air leakage and rattling and make an older window more comfortable to live with.
Before fitting draught proofing we check that the sashes operate correctly. Adjustment, re-cording or minor repairs may be needed so the window works properly once sealed.
Draught proofing is often a practical option when the main window is sound and wholesale replacement is unnecessary. We can also quote for glazing upgrades where suitable.
